Recipe for our Grits

Grits Recipe Makes 4 servings: 1 cup grits, yellow or white, 4 cups water, 1/4 teaspoon salt. Bring water to boil, add grits. Stir occasionally while the grits boil for the first few minutes. This will help keep down lumps. Once they boil for a few minutes you can turn burner down and boil slowly till they thicken. This will take 10 minutes or less.
